How to fit a back to wall pan to allow access:
We are often asked how to correctly install a back to wall pan to allow full access to the hideaway cistern. If you follow this guide it should make life easier for you.
1) Place the pan into its desired position against the furniture.
2) Mark out onto the back of the large door of the WC unit the entry point for the water inlet and outlet.
3) Cut or router out of the large door a section that is large enough to cover both of these pipes in one hole but making sure that the hole is not too big or the pan will not cover it once it is in place.
There you have it. Very simple but equally very important. This now allows full access to the cistern as the top panel clips off and the large bottom panel that you have cut will now slide out to allow you to get to the cistern without having to remove the pan or disturb any water connections.
